Councillor Activities

All of our Town Councillors have a care and duty to Leigh-on-Sea, and as well as working on initiatives with the Council they also work independently within the Community on projects and schemes that help to improve the well being of Leigh residents. Councillors also maintain a presence at all of Leigh-on-Sea Town Council Events.

Cllr. Jill Adair 

Involved with marketing Studio 10. A new art hub and studio complex within the St. James' Ward.

Represented Leigh-on-Sea Town Council at Dunkirk Memorial Service at St. Clement's Church, and at the New Mayors Service at St. Andrew's Church in June 2018

Involved with the Leigh Road Traders Association.

Father at St. Clements Church.

Cllr. Valerie Morgan

Involved with increasing litter picks throughout the town. 

Cllr. Carole Mulroney 

Southend Borough Councillor for Leigh Ward, Liberal Democrat Group Leader on Southend Council. Trustee of Leigh Heritage Centre. Vice Chairman of North Thames Fisheries Local Action Group and member of the Leigh Coastal Communities Team.  Director of Leigh Port Partnership.Local historian and Leigh family history researcher.

Cllr. Declan Mulroney

Involved with the Leigh Society and Leigh Heritage Centre.

Cllr. Caroline Parker 

Local Authority Governer for Leigh North Street Primary School, involved with all School Activities and Safeguarding. Attended the Armed Forces Parade on Canvey Island and Belfairs Academy Awards Presentation in June.

Cllr. Vivien Rosier

Organises the Art Wall at Leigh Community Centre and editor of the Leigh-on-Sea Town Council News Magazine.
